Rotary District Grant – Finance has been applied for and our grant has been submitted. We are awaiting reward.
Town Management has approved the general location of the pole and flag (in the new Bounds area) once funding and the purchase has been secured.
Club Finance
Co-Secretary Tommy Neuman has released by mail, dues notices to all club members. Please be on the lookout. These dues are for the upcoming Rotary year. These can be paid in 1 payment for the year or 2 (6mo)
Paul Harris Fellowship – We have the stated goal as a club of having 100% of membership be a Paul Harris Fellow. This requires each member to contribute $1000 over the course of the Rotary year. $85 per month to the Rotary Foundation will get you there if you are compelled. That donation is easiest when setup as a payment made via the Rotary.org website. I have sent out each members Rotary ID to login to your account. We have discussed gifting fellowship points to get active members up to that level. The only ask is that you have donated $100 to Foundation yourself. Our collective pool will make up the additional 900 points as required.
Flags for Heroes – Thank you to our faithful group of flag sponsors and installers! The Memorial day install went very well and we are set for the 4th of July. Ground sockets are approved to remain installed through this season. A VERY special thanks to Hutt Williams for going to bat for us to get that approved and re-approved.
*We will NOT have a regular meeting on Wednesday June 30th!* We will meet at the Co-Op to retrieve flags and install as early as they will allow us to.
New Business
Breakfast Sourcing:
The Daily – Doug Jenkins
engaged the Daily to see if they could host us for breakfast. We are waiting another week to determine if that’s an option.
Donut Shop – Tommy
The Donut shop would love to have us. Greg would be able to host a good amount of people with breakfast options. We would like the club’s feedback on this as there would be limited seating and opportunities to have speakers.
Upcoming Events
*proposed club gathering* Hosts Doug and Amie Jenkins 6/30/2021 – 5pm cocktails, group dinner 6pm-8pm.
We would like to get the clubs interest for joining together. We would collectively fund/provide the food and drinks.
We would like to get a headcount by the 23rd of June (significant others are invited to join as well!)
